Molten Core is a raid in World of Warcaft (WOW) whose entrance is located in Searing Gorge on the continent of Eastern Kingdoms in the World of Warcraft game. The minimum level for this dungeon is 60. The only achievements you can get in this dungeon are the ones for completing. There are no achievements awards for individual boss encounters for making him to do something. Classic raids and dungeons only had one mode and that was normal. Heroic level versions of the dungeon started in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. Starting in Cataclysm and onwards, Heroic level dungeons were introduced for the highest level.The main anagonist race in this dungeon are Elementals. The raid contains 10 bosses. The end boss of Molten Core is Ragnaros.

This raid can only be played at normal level.

Molten Core is one of the earliest raids for the Warcraft game. Running the raid will give you rep for the Hydraxian Waterlords which is easy to get in the first number of raids you do, however after attaining revered, you will only be able to gain rep from killing the bosses. Its estimated you need to run about 19 times to get the necessary rep for Exalted from Revered. For the 10th anniversary, players were invited to run the raid again for an achievement, a mount and an epic mount.

The players need to make their way to the centre of the instance to fight the Lava Lord, Ragnaros whilst dealing with dogs, elementals and Fire-Nagas.

The location of the entrance to the raid is in the middle of Blackrock Mountain. You need to work your way down to the lower part of the area and talk to the Blood Elf. If you have completed the Blood Elf's quest, he will port you direct to the dungeon, otherwise you'll have to walk there.

Once you have done the raid, you will need to port yourself out. The only other way out of the raid is to walk back the way you came and step back out.
